Ashlyn McEwen is a law clerk at Life Law, where she supports the legal team by assisting with legal research, drafting motions and discovery, and preparing for trial. Originally from Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina, Ashlyn graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Political Science in 2021 and is currently pursuing her Juris Doctor at Campbell University, Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law.
Before law school, Ashlyn spent several years waiting tables, where she developed strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. Her experience in the service industry has enhanced her ability to stay organized and work effectively under pressure, qualities she applies to her legal work today.
Outside of her legal career, Ashlyn has a deep passion for animals, spending much of her free time connecting with them and caring for her three beloved cats. She enjoys reading, listening to music, tending to her plants, and collecting retro video games. A lifelong Clemson fan, Ashlyn grew up attending football games and exploring the campus, where she later discovered her passion for law.
